[Good guess on the surprise part!! Katsuki loathes surprises... he's the kind of person who likes to be prepared at all times. So when people suddenly spring things on him, even positive, he usually reacts horribly. Extremely angry.
He appreciates that Mike instead just cuts to it and tells him what he has planned. And it sounds... nice. Katsuki might not like parties, but he doesn't mind a one on one meeting. And of course, even mean ol' Kacchan likes presents too.]

[He stands and walks over to help finish getting the coffee ready. Pouring in the instant coffee and then pouring in the water. He stirs it then goes to grab some spices from around Bakugo's kitchen. He adds some to one of the cups and stirs them in.]

I've tried spicy coffee before. Or spiced coffees. They're popular around the world. I put cayenne pepper in there and a little cinnamon. You can add milk if you aren't lactose intolerant to bring down the bitter without adding too much sweet.

[Mike might have guessed that he was after seeing the oat milk in his fridge-- but even if he wasn't, he'd still probably prefer it to the usual milk honestly. It's healthy for you!!
But speaking of, he'll get some milk out for his coffee because it sounds like it wouldn't be very good without it. Curious if the spices will really help the flavour or not. (also, mike will notice anything that requires two hands to open like a milk jug will have teeth marks all over the caps of the lids and it's because katsuki uses his teeth to open everything. which he does while getting milk for his coffee-- he's so feral...)]

Which isn't surprising given the problem with his arm but Mike still laughs softly as he won't offer to help. He has a feeling that would only insult Bakugo's ego.]
