So, it started a couple years ago, at this point. I was already dating MK and and I had a new housemate in Macaque, who moved in to help with my nightmares since I have the whole "drugged into having a monster form" thing to worry about. He had a bunch of baggage going on but it was fine at first. We talked about his issues, he came in if I had a nightmare and I would talk while it went right over his head.
But then things weren't fine. He wasn't dealing with his stuff well and made a stupid choose that helped uproot everything. It was mostly him and MK that blew up. But my real first problem was while we were trying to fix it, because Macaque's son is the reason he was fucked up we couldn't even confront the kid to make sure he understood the actual harm past just messing up Macaque. Because he was just a kid and already felt bad and it was Macaque's idea. The kid is a little older than you by the way.
And for me this was a problem because Macaque is kinda...the thing that buffers mental damage for me and I was taking a lot between his condition and being the main one trying to pick up the pieces for MK's emotional state. And it was all way too close to my other found family back in my world. Which is a tangent I hope you're ready for.
